L'albergo Miramonti ha una storia antica. Situato a 600 metri di quota in uno dei luoghi più suggestivi della Lunigiana, trae le sue origini dall'Antica Locanda «Ca' del Gallo», una stazione "di posta" sulla strada del Lagastrello, fondata nel 1913 dai Nonni degli attuali proprietari, Laura ed Umberto Ferrari. Ristrutturato nel corso degli anni, il Miramonti è ora dotato di tutti i requisiti che rendono un Hotel confortevole e funzionale. L'ultimo diletto è la piscina, appena realizzata, dalla quale si può ammirare un panorama mozzafiato.
E' oggi dotato di dodici camere, ristrutturate di recente, tutte con televisione, cassaforte, bagno e doccia. Alcune sono dotate di letto matrimoniale, altre di due letti singoli, mentre la più grande è dotata di ben quattro posti letto. Il panorama delle montagne che si scorge dalle finestre delle camere forma una vista quanto mai pittoresca e suggestiva.
Circondato dalle cime degli Appennini, tra boschi di castagni e di abeti, l'hotel Miramonti si trova a Comano, nell'alta valle del torrente Taverone, a 600 mt. di altezza. A poche centinaia di metri dall'albergo vi sono impianti sportivi di prim'ordine, come campi da tennis, da calcio e maneggio con scuola di equitazione. L'hotel Miramonti è la base ideale per escursioni verso il Lagastrello, le Alpi Apuane, la Lunigiana, ma anche le Cinque Terre e le le città d'arte toscane come Pisa e Lucca che distano meno di un'ora dall'hotel ...
Lo Chef è Umberto Ferrari, vero professionista dell'alta Cucina ed inoltre Sommelier professionista A.I.S., formatosi alla scuola dei migliori ristoranti Italiani ed internazionali come il «Rigoletto» di Reggiolo (RE), il «Maria Luigia» di Collecchio (PR), il «San Domenico» di New York (U.S.A.). La sua cucina dona al Miramonti qualcosa in più: pranzare qui è come mangiare in famiglia, assaporando però i gusti più raffinati. I suoi piatti sono un misto di cucina internazionale nei quali ha innestato i sapori tipici della Lunigiana; il tutto, ovviamente, abbinato ai migliori vini della rifornitissima cantina
La piscina è stata inaugurata nel mese di giugno del 2004 ed è riservata esclusivamente agli ospiti dell'albergo.
Lunga 12 metri e larga 6, è stata costruita in un punto dal quale si ammira una delle viste più suggestive del territorio: immersi nel tepore dell'acqua lo scenario delle montagne tutt'intorno sembra quasi irreale.
La struttura è fornita di ombrelloni e lettini per prendere il sole che, data la quota (siamo a oltre 600 metri d'altitudine), dispensa una tintarella dorata ed uniforme

The hotel Miramonti has an ancient history. Located 600 meters above sea level in one of the most charming places of Lunigiana, has its origins in Ancient Locanda "Ca 'del Gallo," a station "e" on the road Lagastrello, founded in 1913 by the grandparents of the current owners, Laura and Umberto Ferrari. The Miramonti hotel is the ideal base for excursions to the Lagastrello, the Apuan Alps, Lunigiana, but also the Cinque Terre and the art cities of Tuscany such as Pisa and Lucca are less than an hour away .. .
he Chef is Umberto Ferrari, pro high cuisine and also Sommelier AIS, trained in the school of the best Italian and international restaurants such as "Rigoletto" in Reggiolo (RE), the "Marie Louise" Collecchio (PR), the "San Domenico" in New York (USA). Its cuisine gives the Miramonti something more: to dine here is like eating at home, but enjoying the most refined tastes. His dishes are a mix of international cuisine in which it has engaged the flavors of the Lunigiana, all, of course, combined with the best wines of the cellar very supplies. he swimming pool was opened in June 2004 and is reserved exclusively for hotel guests.
12 meters long and six wide, was built in a spot where you can admire one of the most beautiful views of the area: in the warmth of the water around the mountain scenery seems almost unreal.
The structure is equipped with umbrellas and sun beds for sunbathing, given the altitude (we are over 600 meters above sea level), larder and a golden tan uniform
